Due to high shear bond properties the product are used for wet areas like swimming pools, sauna and wash rooms. Excellent spot bonding of insulating material like sound proof panels, corks, polystyrene blocks (expanding type), glass wool and rock. It can also be used for installation of floor or wall covers over substrates on which waterproofing coating is done.
ADVANTAGES
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation
All surface/substrates to receive Hind Fix MA (W) must be fully cured for 28 days, tough and solid, structurally sound, crack less, free from oil, grease, wax and laitance and should be completely dry. Adequate curing of the cementitious substrates should be done during the hot season to avoid shrinkage after the ceramic tiles are installed. Surface exposed to sunlight and hot is to be cooled by spraying water before installation of tiles. Substrates made of Gypsum and anhydrite screeds must be bone dry, hard, solid and dust free. It is to be abraded and treated with cementitious primer before installation of tiles. Substrates having severe dampness has to be waterproofed before installation of tiles/marbles.
Mixing
Mix Hind Fix MA (W) with clean water and keep stirring to obtain a smooth and lump free paste. About 4.0-5.0 Litre of water is to be added for 20 Kg Packing. After mixing, the paste to be kept undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until entrapped air escapes and again restirring is to be done.
Now the material is ready for application. For proper adhesion a thin first layer is to be applied on the substrate by the flat edge of the notched trowel. Immediately after application of the first layer, required thickness of Hind Fix MA (W) is to be applied by using suitable notch trowel which will be depended on the type and size of tiles to be installed.
Outdoor application of ceramic tiles on floor and wall of size more than 1000 Sq. cm should be smoothened before installation. For installation of tiles in swimming pools and water-bodies the adhesive should be applied on the back face of the tiles.
For installation of larger sized tiles/marbles to improve the application of the adhesive the consistency can be made more fluid by adding more water.
Fixing of tiles/marbles
Tiles/marbles are not required to be made wet before fixing. Tiles/Marbles to be fixed under adequate pressure in order to get an economical coverage of the adhesive.
Installation of Glass Mosaic Tiles
The adhesive is to applied on the surface with a notched trowel in scraping motion. V-notched trowel of 4mm to be used to get bed mortar thickness of 1.5-2mm . V-notched trowel of 3mm to be used to get a bed mortar thickness of 1.5mm thickness. Adhesive to be applied onto that much area on the substrate, so that the tiles for that much area is covered within 10-15minutes time or the adhesive is still tacky. Glass Mosaic Tiles should then be placed and fixed by gently beating with a mallet for 100% full bedding. Tiles should be aligned to achieve uniform joints and allowed to set until fixed. The face of the sheets of front mounted glass mosaic tiles is to be wetted/dampened and the front mount paper removed. After fixing of tiles excess adhesive to be removed from the surface of the tile with a wet cloth/sponge before it get hardened.

WHITE CEMENT BASED ADHESIVE FOR FIXING OF TILES AND MARBLES
DESCRIPTION
Hind Fix MA (W) is ready mix white cement based thinset adhesive for fixing of Tile/Marble Adhesive, manufactured from white cement, fine graded sand/quartz sand, polymer and special additives, having an innovative property which prevents emitting low dust during mixing. It makes the working spot comfortable and environment friendly. It qualifies the requirements specified by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) as a green product and conforms to IS: 15477-2004 , EN 12004, ANSI A 118.4-1999 & ISO 13007.
USES
For the permanent fixing of all sizes and types of ceramic tiles/marble, vitreous, semi-vitreous tile, porcelain, glass mosaic tiles, precast terrazzo, engineered stone and natural stones over concrete and different variety of substrates and on uneven substrates without leveling the floors, interior and exterior bonding of stone material (insensitive to moisture) up to 15mm thickness.
ADVANTAGES
APPLICATION
About 4.0 -5.0 Litre of water is to be added for 20 Kg Packing.
