APPLICATION
Soak the perforated capsules in water for 1 to 2 minutes. Insert the required numbers of water soaked capsules into the holes accommodating the capsules. Insert and push the anchor bolt with help of electrically operated drill. Place and fix the cover plate. All operations should be completed within 8 to 10 minutes.

RESIN CAPSULE FOR ROCK STABILIZATION
DESCRIPTION
Hind Bolt R is a fast setting sausage shaped composite cartridge, containing special grade of isophthalic polyester resin and a floating inner tube, filled with catalyst in accurately measured quantities. The two components are housed in a single pouch and yet isolated from each other. When punctured and torqued by a reinforcing rod, the fragile tube breaks, the resin and catalyst thus get homogeneously mixed and the phenomenon of curing by cross linking sets in. The gel point under exothermic conditions is reached within 1 to 3 minutes, as per specific requirements and the annular space between the bore hole wall and rock bolt is filled with a tough thermo set resin matrix. This stitches the mother substrate or anchors the bolt and stabilizes the support system permanently, achieving a Pull-out load as high as 100MT per Running Meter and Pull out Bond Strength of 20 N/mm2.
USES
Hind Bolt R is used to counter the load and squeezing phenomenon occurring from the reducing residual stress of the rock, after blasting, in a mining or tunneling operation. It reinforces rock strata and prevents freshly exposed overhead rock from collapsing, after each blast.

ULTRAFINE CEMENTITIOUS INJECTABLE GROUT FOR ROCK & SOIL STABILIZATION
DESCRIPTION
Hind Cem (MF) is a unique formulated non-ferrous fluidizer, non gaseous, expansive type grout consisting of dry premixed blend of ultrafine special cement. In conjunction with a specially formulated admixture system it is used for injection grouting work for rock and soil stabilization. Due to the presence of finer particle size and a good plasticizing medium it penetrates deep into micro-cracks, fissures and seals all pores enabling to provide a impervious and water-tight stabilized rock or soil mass.
USES
APPLICATION
Always use Hind Cem (MF) with Hind Plast Super-Water Reducing Admixture and the dosage varying from 0.1%-1% by weight of Hind Cem (MF). Recommended Powder: Water Ratio (by weight) should normally be between 0.5 - 1.0
Mixing
Hind Cem (MF) is to be gradually added to water and mixed thoroughly. All quantity of the grout should not be added at one time. Mixing procedure may be carried with a slow paddle mixer (400-450 rpm) or by means of any suitable mechanical mixer. Injection grouting work is now to be done by high pressure pump and the injection operation to be completed with a time period of 30- 45 minutes for better and effective results. Due to its fast setting properties it get set within 2-31/2 hours and allow drilling operation to continue further.

ALKALI FREE GUNITE AND SHOTCRETE ACCELERATOR IN LIQUID FORM
DESCRIPTION
Hind Set LAF is a alkali-free set accelerator available in Liquid form for use in wet shotcreting /Guniting. The dosage of the liquid admixture varies as per the desired setting and hardening time. It is not freezable below Zero Degrees Celsius and is regularly being used effectively in sub zero temperatures in India & Abroad.

Hind Set LAF is used and suitable for all applications to give high early strength, good final strength and achieving higher thickness in layers of sprayed concrete.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION
The alkali -free shotcrete accelerator, Hind Set LAF is a non-caustic, high solid content admixture. Due to its specific gravity greater than 1.4, the rebound loss for wet shotcrete is minimized and by use of the same more than 150mm thick layer of wet shotcrete is achieved in a single operation. High early strength (>12 Mpa at 24 hours) and quick final setting (< 15 minutes) is achieved when used in wet shotcrete. It is always advisable that the substrate is clean and free from loose particles and the cement used is fresh or otherwise, if the cement is old the setting properties of the mix is affected. The use of Hind Set LAF is very sensitive with different types of cements. Generally Portland cements is used to give good and fast setting. It can also be used with blended & Fly-ash /Slag cements. It is always recommended to check the setting time and 24 hours strength of the cement to be used in the project and the evaluation of the same to be done as per EFNARC European Specification for Sprayed Concrete, Appendix 1, Clause 6.3. The test results mentioned as follows is for guidelines only. (Setting time conforming as per ASTM C 1102-94 standard)

MIXING GUIDELINES
Hind Set LAF when used for Wet Shotcreting, the Water : Cement ratio should be less than 0.45 and for achieving high early strength , faster setting and better durability W/C ratio recommended is 0.40.
DOSAGE
The dosage of Hind Set LAF to be finalized by site trials, however the recommended dosage ranges from 4-10% by weight of binder materials used. Overdosing to a tune of more than 10% results to decrease in final strengths

ALKALI FREE ACCELERATOR FOR SHOTCRETE & SPRAY CONCRETE IN LIQUID FORM
DESCRIPTION
Hind Set LAF 100 is a alkali-free set accelerator with high performance in liquid form for sprayed concrete applications. Hind Set LAF 100 has been formulated specially to be used for sprayed concrete mix which is designed based on fly ash based CEM II cement. It can also be used with standard CEM I types cement. The dosage of Hind Set LAF 100 can be adjusted to get the desired setting time and reduce rebound loss and at the same time a healthy and safe working environment is achieved. Hind Set LAF 100 is formulated to meet the requirements of EN 934-5 – Admixtures for Sprayed Concrete, ASTM C 1141/C 1141M – Standard Specifications for Admixtures for Shotcrete and EFNARC – European Specification for Sprayed Concrete.

Hind Set LAF 100 is used and suitable for all applications to give high early strength, good final strength and achieving higher thickness in layers of sprayed concrete.

APPLICATION
Hind Set-LAF 100 is to be added at the nozzle of a suitable dispensing/sprayed equipment. The dosage varies from 3% to 10% by weight of cement of the wet mix.
To obtain optimum performance the w/c ratio of the concrete mix to be maintained below 0.45 which also ensure fast setting at low dosages. A dosage of 6 % by weight of cement is suggested for 100 mm thickness of the spraying layer in single operation.

USES
Hind Set PAF is suitable for Dry Spray/Gunite mixes for Tunnels and Galleries, securing rock faces, embankments and excavations, this section concrete shells, swimming pool, concrete repair works, strengthening concrete structures.
ADVANTAGES
APPLICATION
The required amount of Hind Set PAF is mixed with dry cement-and-gravel mixture. Large quantity of dry-mix can be prepared provided dry aggregate is used and protected from moisture. When Guniting is interrupted care must be taken to ensure that water does not flow back in the supply hose causing the mix to set.
Dosage: Normally between 3 to 4% by weight of cement. When increased to 5 to 7% setting is quicker and curing time is much reduced.
The optimum dosage should be determined by Site/ Lab trials.
