Corrosion inhibitor for reinforced concrete
Hind Corroguard functions as a high performance corrosion inhibiting admixture simultaneously affects both anodic and cathodic processes, it contains molecules in which electron density distribution causes the inhibitor to be attracted to both anodic and cathodic sites. By virtue of the moisture within the concrete these molecules migrate towards the steel and get deposited in a monomolecular layer along the steel and reestablish the barrier between the steel and chlorides to prevent corrosion.
Hind Corroguard should be added directly to the concrete at the batching plant or transit mixture.
The optimum dosage of HIND CORROGUARD to meet specific requirements should always be determined depending on the severity of the corrosion environment and anticipated chloride loading of the structure. Normally we recommend dosage range in between 2-3Kg per M3 of concrete.

In un-opened condition, protected from direct sunlight and frost at temperatures between 5ºC and 50°C, Shelf Life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. It should be stored away from reducing agents and combustible materials.

Hind Corroguard is non-toxic and ingestion is to be avoided. Any splashes to the skin must be washed with water. If contact with eyes occurs, wash well immediately with water and seek medical advice.
