Description

USES

  • Fixing Insert Plates
  • Fixing Foundation Bolts
  • Fixing Tie Bars
  • Anchoring Rail Tracks
  • Fixing Base Plates
  • Anchor for Docks, Cranes etc.

ADVANTAGES

  • Fast Curing
  • Gain of compressive and bond strength is very fast
  • Resistant to vibrations
  • Resistant to moisture and can be applied to damp areas.
  • Good bond with a wide range of bases.
  • Easy mixing and application.
  • Non shrink.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

  • The anchoring points are to be marked as per designed numbers of anchors.
  • Drilling of holes to be carried out as per designed diameter and depth ( A table indicating the dia. and depth is given below) by electrical rotary drill.
  • The holes are to be cleaned preferably by compressed air.
  • New concrete surface should be cured well for 28 days.
  • The anchor bars of designed length and diameter should be properly cleaned from all rust dirt etc.

 MIXING

  • The entire content of Pack –A is taken in a clean dry container suitable for stirring.
  • The content of Pack- B is then slowly poured and mixed gently with the previously taken Pack- A content.
  • Avoid part mixing of the components.

POURING

  • The mixed material is then poured into the holes slowly for vertical joints as per calculated quantity and the anchor bolts are inserted and agitated gently and then left undisturbed till the setting of the material. ( The material should just spill over after inserting the anchor bolt up to full depth)
  • For horizontal joints the material is to be injected deep into the drilled hole as per the calculated quantity and the anchor bolts are inserted and agitated gently and then left undisturbed till the setting of the material. ( The material should just spill over after inserting the anchor bolt up to full depth)

CLEANING

The cleaning of tools to be done with organic solvent like Xylene.
