ADVANTAGES

APPLICATION 

The entire pouch of 250 gm of Hind Geo Grout is added to 20 Ltr. of water and stirred properly until the entire quantity gets dissolved in the water. After 2-3 minutes of mixing the compound starts reacting chemically with water and slowly turns into a gel like compound. This gel is now poured into the formwork which stabilizes the loose soil from collapsing. Our recommended dosage for Hind Geo Grout is 0. 60 Kg per Marea. However it is suggested to finalize the exact dosage depending on soil condition at site.

Hind Grout GP is used for grouting of Bolt Pockets and Base plates grouting of all equipments, Columns in pre-cast construction concrete, Girders, Beams, Repair & Rehabilitation of Structures.

ADVANTAGES

Hind Grout GP is an economical and easy to use material, requiring only addition of water. It is very easy to mix and placement can be done with high flow characteristic, rapid strength development, adjustable consistency and Compressive strength up to 40N/mm² (28 days) is achieved. It does not segregate and bleed. It is impact and vibration resistant, non-corrosive to steel and iron, non-toxic and safe to handle.

APPLICATION

All grouting areas must be free from the loose concrete, oil, grease, and dust where Hind Grout GP will be placed. The grouting areas to be saturated with water and it is to be ensured that no stagnant water is present before application. Add Hind Grout GP Powder to clean water as per the recommended dosages. Keep on mixing with a grout or concrete mixer till a smooth and even consistency is achieved. Mixed grout should be used within 15 minutes of preparation. After initial hardening of the grout, it should be kept damp either by wet hessian cloth or with water-ponding for a minimum of  seven days. Water and Powder ratio varies from 0.12 to 0.18 depending on the consistency requirement of the site. 25 Kg of the material will yield approximately 13.0 Litre of Fluid Grout and 12.0 Litre of Plastic Grout mix respectively. Placing conditions including temperature may have to be assessed before pouring the grout at site. Small trial batches may be tried to ascertain best working consistency.

APPLICATION

Add 50 litre of clean water to a 20 Kg bag of Hind Grout SST. Mixing to be done thoroughly for 5-7 minutes using a drill fitted with a stirrer, until a uniform consistency is obtained. The slurry formed to be injected within a time limit of 45-50 minutes with pump. Ensure that injection grouting is completed with the schedule time otherwise the pump hose will get clogged.

SHELF LIFE

Hind Grout SST is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture. Should be stored in a cool and dry place and in unopened conditions away from direct heat and sunlight. If care as stated is maintained a minimum shelf life of 5-7 years can be obtained. Do not keep used bags mouth open, always ensure that it is properly tied up to avoid ingress of moisture.

Hind HSMC is used for repairs to damaged reinforced concrete members, for cover replacing concrete, resistance to weathering action, and places where free flow concrete is required to be placed and vibration is difficult. Most suitable for structural repairs of columns, beams by means of encasement, jacketing etc.

APPLICATION 

Preparation of surface

The surface of old concrete member should be properly prepared by chipping off all the loose concrete, exposed reinforcements should be cleaned and de-rusted manually or mechanically, anticorrosive coating of acrylic or epoxy base like Hind Anti Rust or Hind Anti Rust EZ to be applied on the de-rusted reinforcement, bonding coat based on Epoxy or Polymer latex like Hind Bond EBA or Hind Styrene BR to be applied on the surface of concrete, steel or plywood shuttering to be fixed within the time the bonding coat becomes tacky and does not set.

 MIXING 

The micro concrete to be mixed in the ratio of 1:0.5 to1:0.75 (1 part powder of micro concrete chemical : 0.5 to 0.75,  12 mm down silt free stone aggregate) with a Water : Powder ratio of 0.21 .The micro concrete chemical and the coarse aggregate is to be dry mixed thoroughly first and then it is to be slowly poured in pre measured water in a mixing container and stirred thoroughly manually or by a power paddle to obtain a free flow uniform pourable mix.

POURING/PLACING 

The mixed material is then poured manually or pumped into the gap between the concrete members and shuttering to get a self compacted screen concrete of thickness between 40mm to 125mm.No vibration is required except gentle tamping by a light weight tool.

USES 

Hind Hydrafoam PU injection is used for cracks in concrete to stop the flow of moving water. It will provide an effective system for cracks sealing in wet conditions. It is a complete system for water cut off in concrete, masonry structures where strong leaks are encountered. The system only reacts when it comes into contact with water, providing semi-flexible polyurethane foam, thus providing permanent solutions to the leaking problems.

ADVANTAGES 

  • 1. Reacts with water to produce water resistant foam to stop water ingress into concrete and masonry structure.
  • 2. Rapid instant action to produce water stop against moving water under pressure.

Design criteria 

Semi- flexible Polyurethane resin type is designed to stop the movement of water in cracked concrete. Crack widths of between 0.1 mm and 5 mm can be treated depending on the water flow. Hind Hydrafoam PU is designed as a solution to water ingress or movement to structure and must be used in conjunction with manufacturer provided catalyst proportion to make homogeneous grout for stopping the water flow, which become when contact with water from hydrophobic reaction and chemically resistant semi flexible polyurethane foam. On certain injections it is advisable to give second pass using varying the catalyst ratio from 5% to 10% to provide a flexible seal. The reaction time can be adjusted from 10 minutes to 30 seconds.

Water-stopping crack injection resin 

The foam water-stopping crack injection resin shall be a two part foaming liquid polyurethane. When mixed in the proportions supplied and injected to cracks in concrete, the resin shall react with moving water to from a foam water stopping barrier.

The water-stopping injection resin shall have the following properties ; pot life, in the absence of water, 6 – 8 hours at 200C, 3-4 hours at 300C; reaction time with water, 5-30 seconds, dependent on temperature; viscosity of 3 – 5 poise at 200C specific gravity of 1.14 ± 0.06; foam density of 0.025.

When used in conjunction with flexible polyurethane resin type, a flexible two part Polyurethane injection resin shall form a permanent seal in cracked concrete. 

Application instructions 

Hind Hydrafoam PU can be applied using either injection packers fixed into holes drilled directly into the crack or drilled diagonally from concrete adjacent to the crack or by the fixing of injection nipples bonded to two surface using Hind Proof No.3 admixed with cement. On wide cracks and where there is a large flow of water the use of Hind Plug S, rapid setting cement based, water stopping mortar, should be considered for initial control of water.

Preparation 

If water flow permits, clean the surface adjacent to the cracks and remove any dust, unsound or contaminated material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae.

The surface should preferably be prepared using high pressure water jetting or light abrasive blasting, followed by thorough washing to remove dust and remaining particles. Dirt alone may be removed with wire brushes or similar mechanical means.

Oil and grease deposits should be removed by steam cleaning, detergent scrubbing or the use of a proprietary degreaser. The effectiveness of decontamination should then be assessed by a pull-off test. Blow the cracks and treated surface with oil free air to ensure complete removal of all dust and loose particles.

Fixing injection packers

The injection packers inserted into pre-drilled holes shall be fixed at intervals along the length of each crack. The distance between each packer will depend upon the width and depth of the crack. Spacing shall be close enough to ensure that the resin will penetrate along the crack to the next point of injection. This will normally be between 200 mm to 500mm.

Where practical the surface of the cracks between the packers shall be sealed with a band of polymer mortar, 30 to 40 mm wide and 2 to 3 mm thick. Both sides of any cracks which go all the way through a wall or slab shall be sealed this way. Please note where water flow is severe the polymer mortar application can be omitted.

In the case of a wall or slab which is cracked all the way through, packers shall be located on both sides with those at the back placed at midway points between those at the front. Where application, the polymer mortar shall be allowed to cure for 8 hours at 350C. At low ambient temperatures (5 0C To 12 0C) the curing time will be extended and the applicator shall ensure that the surface sealant has adequately cured prior to continuing.

One end of the injection hose shall be attached to the lowest  packer on vertical cracks or to either end of horizontal cracks. Each crack shall be treated in a single, continuous operation. Sufficient material shall, therefore, be made ready prior to the commencement of the work.

Restoring

Remove the packers or nipples. Apply any holes or voids with Hind Plug S, or Hind Grout GP  and allow to cure. Do not allow to burn.

Cleaning

Hind Hydrafoam PU and polymer mortar should be removed from tools, equipment and mixers with solvent immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

6 months from the date of manufacture stored at 200C , in a dry place in unopened containers.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

Hind Hydrafoam PU contains isocyanate which may cause sensitization by inhalation. During use avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of vapour. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.

Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immediately with a resin removing cream followed by soap and water. Do not use solvent. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately do not induce vomiting. Use only in well ventilated areas. In cases of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory protective clothing.

The system only reacts when it comes into contact with water, providing semi-flexile polyurethane foam, thus providing permanent solutions to the leaking problems.

  • It possesses an excellent adhesive property and develops a strong bond.

 Hind Plast EGA can be used for Grouting in

  • 1. Pre-stressed cable ducts.
  • 2. Rock and soil anchoring.
  • 3. Bearing plates.
  • 4. Pre-placed aggregates.
  • 5. Tunnel lining.
  • 6. In underground structure, basement, tunnel, lift-wells, dams, water reservoir and other water retaining structure.
  • Does not allow shrinkage of cement used in cement sand mortar.

ADVANTAGES

  • 1. Improved fluidity.
  • 2. Increased cohesion.
  • 3. Volume expansion in the wet state to develop non-shrink property.
  • 4. Chloride free – does not attack reinforcement or pre-stress cables

APPLICATION

The recommended dosage range is 0.5 to 0.6 kg. per 100 kgs. Cement. It is advisable to conduct trials to achieve optimum economical dose.Add directly to the dry cement then add water into the mixer and mix at least for 3 minutes. Sand may be added  if required. For pre-stressed concrete work, where mechanical batching is carried out, a mixing time of 4 minutes with a w/c ratio of 0.36 – 0.40 has been found to give the best result. The most effective mixing sequence has proven to be water, cement and finally the admixture. When used as an admixture to compensate the drying shrinkage of cement in mortar the recommended dosage varies from 0.1% to 0.25% by weight of cement.

USES 

Hind Plast Super G is used for producing good cohesive grout or mortar with adequate workability less porosity and convenient for placement, without addition of extra water. Very suitable for the grout/ precast concrete/ mortar products, as it gives fair-faced concrete/ mortar with improved ultimate strength.

 ADVANTAGES

 APPLICATION 

The dosage of Hind Plast Super G ranges from 0.2 % to 1.0 % by weight of cement used. However more accurate dosage can be obtained by laboratory and site trials as per appropriate requirements.

SHELF LIFE

HANDLING PRECAUTION 

Hind Plast Super G is non-toxic and ingestion is to be avoided. Any splashes to the skin must be washed with water. If contact with eyes occurs, wash well immediately with water and seek medical advice.

USES

Hind Tile Grout is used to filling up the wall and floor joints when tiles like vitrified, ceramic, mosaic, marble and glazed tiles etc. are fixed in residential and industrial buildings.

  • 5. Is unaffected and can withstand effects of mild detergents and cleaning agents.
  • 6. Cleaning becomes easy.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

All substrate must be structurally sound, clean and free from any contamination like grease, oil, loose particles etc. before application of Hind Tile Grout.

Mixing

Add 340-360 gms. water to 1 Kg of Hind Tile Grout by volume and mixing is to be done properly by a trowel to get a paste type consistency. Allow the Tile grout paste to settle for 10-12 minutes in the mixing pan. The paste is then applied to fill the joints by means of spatula, trowel and finally it is smoothened evenly to level and finish. Surplus grout paste is removed by a damp sponge. Care should be taken while cleaning the surplus grout from getting it pressed down before drying.  The tile grout is allowed to dry for hours after application. We must always ensure that tile grout should be filled into the joints, 24 hours after the tile fixing operation is completed.

Coverage 1 Kg covers approx. 95-100 Sq.ft (ceramic tiles) and 75-80 Sq.ft (vitrified) for joint size of 3mm width.
Working Time Approx. 30-45 minutes at  270 C.

SHELF LIFE

6 months from the date of manufacture, provided the material is stored in a perfectly dry place and in unopened conditions.

HANDLING PRECAUTION
